 Utz The Baron von Utz (Armin Mueller-Stahl) is a collector of women and priceless porcelain figurines. When his friend, New York art dealer Marius Fischer (Peter Riegert), hears the Baron has taken ill he travels to Prague to check on Utz and his collection. What he discovers is a mystery: the porcelain and the Baron's housekeeper (Brenda Fricker) have disappeared. To get to the bottom of it, Fischer along with the Utz's old friend, Dr. Orlick (Paul Scofield), must unravel the magical life of this extraordinary man, and the history behind his obsessions.
